Multiple Myeloma is cancer of the plasma cells. Plasma cells are the type of white blood cells which are responsible for producing antibodies. In this form of cancer there is a production of abnormal plasma cells which in turn produce abnormal antibodies.<\/p>\n

The exact cause of the cancer is unknown Myeloma affects many organs and produce wide variety of symptoms including bone pain, anemia, kidney failure, infection. Treatment of multiple myeloma focuses on the reduction of the clonal plasma cell population.<\/p>\n
