Lung Cancer is the carcinoma of the lungs. It is characterized by the uncontrollable growth of the cells.
There are various causes of the lung cancer primary being smoking, air pollution, asbestos exposure etc.
Adenocarcinoma is the most common form of lung cancer often associated with the people with smoking history. For therapeutic purpose the Lung cancer is divided into Non Small Cell Lung Carcinoma and Small Cell Lung Carcinoma.

The three main subtypes of NSCLC are adenocarcinoma, squamous call carcinoma and large cell carcinoma. Lungs are the common site of the for the spread of the cancer from other parts of the body. There are many options for the management of Lung cancer and includes Surgery , Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy.
