Prostate Cancer is the development of cancer in the prostate gland. Prostate glands are the glands present in the male reproductive system. The reasons are old age, family history and race. In the later stages of this cancer there can be difficulty in urinating, blood in urine and the pain during the urination. Prostate cancer can have no visible symptoms, during early stage but later show visible symptoms of frequent urination, nocturia, hematuria and dysuria.
Metastatic prostate cancer can spread to other parts of the body and in that case can produce visible symptoms, eg. Leg weakness when the cancer metastasise spine and compress the spinal cord. A complete understanding of the cause of prostate cancer is unknown.
